a nice way to start the day

Since baby girl was busy doing this...

I did some of this...
While Finley was snoozing this morning, I had the chance to cut lots of fabric, enough for 18 more blocks in my FMF quilt. It was such a pretty morning with the sunlight shining through the front windows, I just had to take a few shots.
I'm pretty sure a bowl of scraps can't get much prettier than this!
Happy Tuesday! xoxo

You know, when my middle daughter was that age, she had lots of hair like your little one. It seemed to me that a lot of people took actual pleasure telling me that she would soon lose all that hair. Well, she never did! Also, she was born with dark eyes. She was quite gorgeous, much like Finley! It's wonderful you were able to put your gift morning to such good use.

You lost me after "since baby girl was busy doing this"! Finley is so cute curled up sleeping. Look at her sweet little hands.

I will have to check back again later to read what *you* were up to. Haha. : )

Awww, I miss the teeny baby stage. I love my 18 month old, but I wish I could just cuddle her sometimes like before and she will have nothing of it. Little Miss Independent. Okay, now I'm going to go cry, LOL. Maybe I need another one?

What an incredibly sweet picture. Precious!

I've been working on strip blocks in the spiderweb style for a Christmas tree skirt. My goodness, those strips take over the table!
