I had so much fun crocheting this granny square afghan for Finley. This is the first traditional granny square I've made, and I loved it. It went together so quickly, and I can't wait to make a big one for my living room. I used acrylic yarns in rose, pea green, and white to coordinate with her nursery.
Sorry for the photo-heavy post... they turned out so well, I had trouble choosing just a few so I put them all in. :)

So beautiful Angela! I can knit pretty well, but I'm trying to teach myself to crochet and I'm just not picking it up as easily. I wish you were around to give me a lesson - you look like a pro!
your afghan is gorgeous! What an awesome treasure it will be for your daughter. I crocheted blankets for each of my son's when they were babies and although they are packed away now...whenever they get a look at them they still get sentimental over them. I still need to make one for my daughter, but since she is 3 already, it will have to be a big girl blanket.
found you through flickr...your creations are all so beautiful! I am very inspired!! You are very talented!!!
Very nice! Just found your blog, and I love your quilts. Such fun patterns and colors for your little ones! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Eeek! You make crochet look good. Ok, I'm following your blog now. Lucky you to have a new baby to stitch for!
Saw this photo on Flickr and thought it was beautiful! I'm having a major granny square fixation right now. Especially love the beautiful colors!
