new projects.

A new house needs lots of new quilts, right? Here are some current works in project:

A half square triangle quilt for Weston's bed (this is finished, I just need to get some photos)

A string quilt in Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley

And last, me (at 6 months pregnant) and the little guys coloring Easter eggs. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday, and hope that your was as well.

Question on your string quilt - is the center strip an additional piece of fabric or is that charcoal color used as the base for the other strips? I've heard of it being done both ways - wasn't sure which is better.

I love the first picture with the apple core. Brilliant! The quilt is beautiful too. I love the colors.

I love string quilts. I like how you used the grey as the center strip. Ties them all together without sticking out.

We agree with everyone before us: these are amazing! The string quilt is so fun and cozy, we too like the grey in the middle. Thanks for sharing your fabulous blog; keep up the great work!
