couch time

I was able to get a little stitching done this week. I've had these amazing patterns for quite awhile now, and haven't gotten a chance to sit down with them. It has been a pretty cold week here, and I've been able to have some quality couch-time... you know, lots of quilts, afghans, hot drinks, and a needle and thread.

I'm back!

Hi friends, I am back. We finally got a new laptop, after being without one for almost a month. I've been able to keep up with the shop through my iPod Touch, which was a Christmas gift from my sweet husband. But besides that, I have been MIA. Blogging on that little screen was just not going to happen.

Truthfully, I have not been doing too much sewing. I think the winter blahs have hit the house, you know? This table quilt was an afternoon project earlier on in the week. I used a full charm pack from Moda's Swell line, along with some houndstooth backing from Summer in the City, another beautiful line from Moda. The bright, spring colors add a nice splash of color to the house during this cold month.
